Teen Pottery Wheel Summer Workshop:
Open to 12-16 year olds
Cost: $200 + tax
These are 5-day workshops, 2.5 hours per day, that are designed to teach beginners the basics of working on a pottery wheel in a fun and engaging environment. Each participant will strive to create 4-6 pieces. The full workshop description can be found below.

Workshop 1: June 29 - July 2 at 10:30am + painting session anytime after July 14
Workshop 2: June 29 - July 2 at 3pm + painting session anytime after July 14
Workshop 3: July 20 - July 23 at 10:30am + painting session anytime after August 10
Workshop 4: July 20 - July 23 at 3pm + painting session anytime after August 10
Workshop Description:
Day 1
-Introduce and work on centering the clay
-Work on pulling and creating cylinders
Day 2
-Focus on cylinders to work on centering and review creating even walls
Day 3
-Introduce bowls and how to create shaped vessels
Day 4
-Open time to work on own projects
Day 5:
Glazing (or painting) the finished pieces. Participants can visit the studio anytime during regular hours to paint their pieces.

*This workshop is designed for ages 12-16 years old and is limited to 4 seats per workshop. It is a drop-off workshop.
*Masks required. Please wear clothes and shoes that can get messy. Please also be sure to trim your fingernails as longer nails will make throwing impossible.
