What will my candle be made of?

We only use the highest quality soy wax, premium fragrance oils, and cotton wicks.

Why can’t I take my candle home right away?

Hot candle wax takes time to set and solidify evenly. If moved too quickly, the hot wax can slosh around and you can end up with holes, a rough surface, or a wick that drifts off center. The time for wax to set can vary based on the size of your candle, so as a general rule, we leave all freshly made candles to dry in the studio for at least 1 day before they can picked up. You also can speak with our candle bar staff when you visit for your session.

How soon can I burn my candle?

To achieve the best scent throw and burn performance for candles made with quality soy wax, we recommend that you wait 10-14 days to achieve the needed molecular stability and for the wax to fully bind with the fragrance oils.

How should I care for my candle to get the best out of it?

All candles will come with candle care tips at pick up.

What can I expect when I come in for my session? (below times are approximate and may be less/more based on the number of guests in the session)

-5 mins meet and greet

-10 mins to explore our wide selection of fragrances, choose your preferred fragrances and complete your label

-10 mins to blend your fragrances

-5 minutes to choose your vessel

-15 minutes to pour your wax and set your wick

How much will it cost to make a candle?

Prices start at $38 for a 6 ounce candle poured into a metal tin with a lid. We also stock a variety of glass and seasonal vessels in different sizes (10, 15, and 20 ounces) which will range in pricing from $55 to $100 (plus tax). If you choose a more expensive vessel, your original booking payment will be applied and any difference in cost will be charged at your session.
