(Updated August 1, 2018)

Speckles & Splatter LLC (“Company,” “we,” or “us”) provides this Privacy Policy to inform you of our policies and procedures regarding the collection, use, disclosure and protection of personal information that is gathered by us on (the “Website”), in our Studio(s), or at any functions and events where we interact with you. It is important that you read this Privacy Policy together with any other privacy notice or fair processing notice we may provide on specific occasions when we are collecting or processing personal information about you so that you are fully aware of how and why we are using your personal information. This privacy notice supplements the other notices and is not intended to override them.

Section 1 - What Do We Do With Your Information?

When you purchase something from us, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address, phone number, and email address. When you browse our Website, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system. Email marketing (if applicable): With your expressed consent, we may send you emails about our Studio(s), new products, specials, and other updates.

Section 2 - Consent

How do you get my consent? When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, make a reservation, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

How do I withdraw my consent? If after you opt-in, you change your mind, you may opt-out and withdraw your consent for us to contact you, for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your information, at any time, by contacting us at

Section 3 - Disclosure

We may disclose information collected from you to third parties who assist us in operating the website or conducting our business (for example, shipping companies who need your name, address and phone number for shipping purposes). This information is provided only after these outside parties have agreed to maintain the integrity, security, and confidentiality of the personal information disclosed. Speckles & Splatter LLC also may be required to disclose certain information to comply with legal requirements, such as subpoenas, search warrants, laws, regulations or court orders as part of a legal proceeding or a law enforcement agency request. Other than the foregoing and for purposes of credit card and electronic check processing, we do not currently share user information collected by us with third parties and have no plans to do so in the future.

Section 4 - Third-Party Services

At the present time, the Website contains links to our Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook pages and links to additional websites and social media platforms may be added in the future. The website also directs users to third-parties who manage our reservations and secure payment gateways in order to process users' credit card and electronic check payments. These third-party providers have their own privacy policies with respect to the information we may be required to provide to them. We therefore recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers. In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located in a different jurisdiction than either you or us. Therefore, if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located. Once you leave our Website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy.

Section 5 - Security

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. Additionally, we have implemented security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information that we collect. In particular, we only use a third-party payment gateway which manages the complex routing of sensitive customer information through the credit card and electronic check processing network, adhering to strict industry standards for payment processing. These standards include at present 128-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology for secure Internet Protocol (IP) transactions, industry leading encryption hardware and software methods and security protocols to protect customer information, and compliance with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard.

Section 6 - Kids Under 13

We do not seek to collect and do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone under the age of 13. Prior to sending any information over the Internet about themselves (for instance, names, email addresses, and phone numbers), children should always get permission from their parents. We encourage all parents to take an active interest in their children’s online activities.

Section 7 - Changes To This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it. If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.
